Doris Li

Principal 
Doris Li is the Founder and Principal of Bravo Education Center, bringing extensive experience in education and school management from both China and Canada. She is dedicated to helping students build strong academic foundations while developing confidence and a love of learning.
 
Before coming to Canada, Doris held a school management position in China for many years, where she gained valuable experience in school operations, curriculum planning, and educational leadership. After moving to Canada, she continued to pursue her passion for education, working closely with local teachers and students while gaining a deep understanding of the Canadian education system and classroom needs.
 
In 2014, Doris founded Bravo Education Center with the vision of creating a safe, supportive, and academically strong learning environment for children. Through years of dedication and hard work, Bravo has grown into a trusted learning center for many families in the community.
 
Today, Doris leads a team of professional and dedicated teachers who provide structured academic support in English, Math, French, and Chinese, helping students strengthen their academic skills and achieve steady progress.
 
Doris believes that with the right guidance and encouragement, every child can build confidence, reach their potential, and succeed both in school and in life.

Helen Lee 

Vice Principal
Newmarket Location

Helen Lee brings over 20 years of experience in teaching and educational management to her role as Vice Principal. With a strong academic foundation in Economics and Education completed in Asia, she further expanded her professional qualifications in Canada through the Early Childhood Education (ECE) program at Seneca College and the Education program at University of Niagara Falls Canada.

Throughout her career, Helen has worked in international, public, and private elementary school settings, giving her a broad and well-rounded understanding of diverse educational systems. Her extensive classroom experience, combined with leadership in school management, allows her to support both students and teachers with insight, structure, and care.

Helen provides strong academic leadership with a global perspective. She is committed to maintaining high academic standards while fostering a nurturing, inclusive, and engaging learning environment. Her passion for education, dedication to student success, and ability to connect with families from diverse backgrounds make her an invaluable part of the school community.

  • 10 years of experience teaching mathematics at elementary and high school levels

  • Graduated from a Top 10 Chinese 985 university with a major in Mathematics

  • Completed a second university degree with honours in Computer Science

Abir (OCT)
French / Math / IB – French (Grades 1–10)

  • Over 10 years of experience teaching French and Math from Grades 1–10

  • Strong communication skills in both French and English (oral and written)

  • Provides personalized guidance tailored to each student’s learning style

  • Creates immersive language practice through vocabulary, grammar, and games

George (OCT)
English Writing (Grades 4–12)

 

  • 20 years of experience teaching English and ELL

  • TESL Ontario accredited and ATIP Certified Translator

  • Excellent communication skills with students and parents

  • Master’s degree in Education; IELTS Academic band score 9.0

Jacqueline (OCT)
French (Grades 1–12)

  • Bachelor of Education (French specialization), Western University

  • Currently teaching French in Ontario public schools

  • Extensive experience in after-school tutoring and academic support

  • Qualified in French Immersion (Grades 1–8) and Core French (Grades 4–10)

Illia
Writing / Math / Science (Grades 1–12)

  • Master’s degree in Screenwriting, York University

  • Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving skills

  • Experience teaching in private and public schools, including high school and university

  • Emphasizes logical structure, clarity, and creative learning

Ella
English / Math (Grades 1–8)

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, University of Toronto

  • Two years of experience as a Teaching Assistant

Arpita (OCT)

Joanna (OCT)

  • Over 20 years of French teaching experience

  • Bachelor of Arts (Carleton University) and Bachelor of Education (Lakehead University)

  • Specializes in Core French instruction for Grades 4–8

  • Experienced in inclusive, student-centered learning environments

Racheal
Art Class (Grades 1–8)

 

  • 7 years of experience teaching art in public elementary schools in Qingdao

  • Specializes in arts examination coaching

  • Art educator in Toronto since 2020, focusing on painting and sketching

  • Former Art Program Manager and instructor in private schools and community centers

Josanna (OCT)
